"My interest in the paranormal started out as a hobby and then turned into actual investigations after I purchased various pieces of equipment. I joined a team, and eventually, formed my own team. "
"I have always been interested in the paranormal. I guess it comes when you grow up with a name like Scull. (Try ordering a pizza at Halloween and give them your name of Scull. They think it’s a crank call and hang up on you.) I’m sure growing up in southern New Jersey and always hearing stories of the Pine Barrens and the Jersey Devil fueled my interest too."
"Growing up in a home with paranormal activity I became fascinated with the paranormal. As I grew older, I wanted to better understand the cause of my experiences. I got into this field because I want to not only find answers for myself, but to help others understand their own paranormal experiences."
"Growing up in a house where I have heard and seen a lot of unexplainable things at a young age I've learned to turn my fear of the paranormal into fascination and better understand the causes of my experiences and to help others better understand their experiences as well."

My love for the paranormal and unexplainable grew over the years, filling my time with watching movies, shows and documentaries of the aforementioned topics. When the opportunity of joining a team that share the same interests as myself presented itself, I took it. Not only so I could dive further into a field that fascinates me but to also attempt to explain the unexplainable while still be fascinated by the ones that cannot be explained."
"I've been interested in the paranormal for the past several years. I try to debunk all I can when investigating and reviewing evidence to leave possible true paranormal occurrences. If we can find answers for people experiencing activity, that would be so satisfying. My favorite places that I have been to have been; Pennhurst, West Hi

My favorite piece of equipment is the ovilus 5 or any kind of spirit box. Off and on through out my life so far i have always had smells of perfume just randomly when there shouldn’t have been. Still cant figure it out! While being on the team i have heard many clear voices which is always awesome to hear and try to figure out why they are happening. Hopefully in the next 10 years i will have my many questions answered and be able to bring people into the field and enjoy the paranormal and get a better understanding.

Following these experiences, I finally joined a paranormal group to learn and share similar beliefs and interests; especially to learn with others.
I have tried to investigate the paranormal on my own in the past. However, this approach was not a good fit. I completely enjoy being with a team group of investigators. I find that I work better with a group to analyze the possible evidence and try to debunk our findings.
I find that the ghost box equipment works well for me.
My favorite locations:

Advice I would give people thinking of getting into the paranormal field is to Try to research and join paranormal groups or forums on social media. Teamwork in safety matters is important. Ask questions, as we investigate & learn from each other. The commonality of a group can be lots of fun. Have an open mind as most things can be debunked.
I got introduced to it from my girlfriend who has always been interested. Once she showed me some of the shows, and we went to Paracon and met IPR I had gained a new interest in the field. I started out as a skeptic having grown up in supposedly haunted locations my entire life and family members claiming to see and hear things but I never saw or witnessed anything. Since being an engineer I m out to disprove things by my nature. Now that I m on IPR I have seen and heard things I can’t explain and now I m here to understand why and what is causing them.
My favorite piece I’ve used would be the dead bell. A piece of equipment I want to use is the staticom.
My most profound experience has been; on my first investigation with IPR at Hell house having the door in the hallway slam right behind me, and then hearing all the equipment in the 2nd floor go off when we were in the attic.
I see the paranormal field in the next 10 years being more inclusive, open, and welcome to all investigators. Being able to show people how investigations actually look, vs. how they look on tv shows.
I have always been interested in the field ever since I was a young child. I grew up in a haunted house hearing, and seeing things frequently. I grew up watching the tv shows with my mom and always have had a fascination. From reading books about haunted locations, watching shows, asking people about their thoughts on ghosts and spirits.

So now I am so glad to be able to continue this passion and love and help others understand the field while learning and witnessing things that can’t be explained.
My favorite piece of equipment would be the spirit box and doing the Estes sessions.
My most profound experience with IPR would be at the Samuel Miller Mansion and the Estes session we had during our Friendsgiving event. Growing up my most profound experience is seeing a full apparition of a man in my house standing in our kitchen.

My interest in the paranormal started organically by growing up in a home with spirits present. My interest in the paranormal started organically by growing up in a home with spirits present. Talking about ghosts, and the presences in the home specifically was as normal a dinner conversation as how your day at school or work was. It was not until I was a little older and learned that it was not "normal" that it changed from a dinner topic to a genuine interest. Fate helped push me into the field on a more professional level. When I met IPR on a private investigation, we hit it off pretty well and as luck would have it they were actually looking for new members! My favorite piece of equipment is actually just any kind of simple recorder. There are so many people who are interested in the paranormal but feel limited by lack of funds for fancy equipment. Your own intuition goes a long way, and most people have a cell phone in their pocket capable of recording audio and video. I have found no real time blinking lights or readings as genuinely exciting as reviewing evidence and hearing a voice or seeing movement. It's hard to choose a most profound paranormal experience as I have had quite a few. I think my favorite is always when an audible voice can actually be heard in person instead of just when reviewing footage. Over the next decade I think technology and dedicated research teams will increase our capabilities to communicate, as well as provide clear evidence of the existence beyond our own. I hope someday it will help to make the paranormal so widely accepted as factual that it can be normal dinner conversation in households all over.

How I got started in the paranormal world was when I was a child, I always had a heightened sense for one who are not seen, and I pick up on heightened emotions very easily. I would try to communicate with and learn more starting at the age of 7. My favorite piece of equipment would be between the EDI or the Phasma box. My most profound experience would be when I was about 8 and, in the house, we lived in there was a young boy spirit and he would enjoy moving my toys around or hiding them. It was like a game we would play, and I would stay up at night to have try to speak with him. The one time I saw an apparition of him with my father and instead of being scared I was excited to meet him. I feel in the next 10 years with all the evolving technologies that we should be closer to being on speaking terms and being able to help those who want to move forward but are held back for some unknown reasons.
My initial interest was from my brother taking me on a "ghost hunt" at a nearby graveyard when I was 14 years old.

My most profound paranormal experience would be my 1st one when i was about 8 years old and very sick in bed. There was a kind old man that came into my room and asked how i was feeling. He said i will be fine soon and he kissed me on my forehead. I told my mom and described the man. She pulled out a old photo album and the man was my great grandfather who had passed about 2 years prior.
The paranormal field in the next 10 years should hopefully embrace the same mindset it does today. To help people experiencing paranormal activity find answers and closure. To let the public know that after we pass on.. Its not the end, but rather the beginning.
